Doing this 31 Day Drawing Challenge has got me thinking about a challenge I did a few years ago, my 100 Heads in 100 Days. I treated those 100 posts as a sort of autobiography, and I thought I might do the same sort of thing for this current challenge, where applicable.
So let's talk about birds!
I'm one of those people that has a pretty diverse range of interests, and I've skimmed a large number of subjects. Ornithology, the study of birds, is one of them.
I've met some pretty hardcore 'birders' in my time, and I have nowhere near the knowledge that they have, but there was a while there about 10 years ago when I was really into birding. Specifically Australian birds. They're the best of all of the birds, you'll find...
My all-time favourite bird is the Australian Wood Duck-
so CUTE!!!! |
The Kookaburra. You can hear one of these guys in Jurassic World, so there's obviously at least one of them on Isla Nublar!
The Lyrebird. They can perfectly mimic the laugh of the Kookaburra (among many other things), so it may be these guys on Isla Nublar instead.
Okay, that's enough birding for one day. Back tomorrow with another challenge! Yaaay. Go check out all of the entries for today's challenger right here.
